About us
At Graves Law Office, we’re dedicated to providing our clients with quality legal services at reasonable rates. And, we bring to the table years of experience, both as prosecutors and as private attorneys, handling driver’s license suspensions and reinstatements resulting from arrest and conviction for DUI, DWI, and drunk driving.
In Illinois, the driver’s license reinstatement process is complicated. In some cases, even though you might not quality for full reinstatement, it may still be possible to receive a Restricted Driving Permit (RDP) for employment (work), education, medical reasons, support group attendance, and transporting children to school and daycare. To receive an RDP, you must testify, under oath, at an IL Secretary of State hearing, and submit to cross-examination. And, still, you may not receive the requested RDP…much less a full reinstatement of your driving privileges. Some people have attended hearings for months or even years before reinstatement.
That’s where we can help.
Ken Graves spent many years as a prosecuting attorney with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office, handling just such cases and conducting these cross-examinations. Since 2006, as a private attorney, he’s represented individuals seeking driver’s license reinstatement or driving permits at both formal and informal hearings at the Secretary of State’s Office in Springfield, Illinois.
Ken Graves has handled thousands of such cases. And, if you find yourself in this situation, you need a competent driver’s license reinstatement lawyer like Graves who can see you through the process and make sure you’re fully prepared for your hearing providing you with the best chance for success.
While there is never a guarantee that the outcome of any hearing will be the one you’re looking for, we’re confident that our legal representation and preparation of your case will give you the best opportunity for driving relief, most often after your first time through the process. With Graves Law Office on your side, you may be able to avoid the time and expense of having to return to the IL Secretary of State’s Office for hearings every several months…only to be continuously denied.
You’ll pay only a flat fee for our services…most often well below what’s being charged by our competitors. Don’t spend more than you need to for high quality legal representation. Call Graves Law Office today for more information concerning our fee for representing you in an informal or formal hearing. Our toll free number is (866) 544-1780. Or, you can call us at (217) 544-1780.
Out-of-state residents
We can also help you if you reside out-of-state and have been unable to get a driver’s license in your home state due to a past revocation or suspension in Illinois. If you’re not familiar with this process, it can be complicated and tedious. With your help, we’ll put together all of the necessary documents – and when completed, will personally hand deliver them to the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office, located just a few blocks from our office. While we can’t guarantee your outcome, we believe by working with our office, you’ll have the best chance for success. For out-of-state petitioners, we charge a fair, flat fee for our representation – typically far below what you would pay elsewhere.
